Holiday Inn Express & Suites Reedsville - State Coll Area by IHG

We usually have a great stay there but this time we got a room above the patio and people tend to gather there late at night. We had to call room service to complain at 1:30 in the morning. Next time we will make sure our room is nowhere near there. Also...we went to use the pool but it was closed which greatly disappointed us so we asked the manager for a discount on our room because of it. But then he said it was fine to use now and that they just had to add chlorine earlier. He unlocked it for us and we used it but the chlorine was very strong in the air and water. Also...when they added the powdered chlorine they left messes of it on the side of the pool so every time I would hold onto the side I would get chlorine on my hands. Breakfast is usually very good except for the omelets...taste like fake eggs. Everything else was very good especially the cinnamon rolls. Overall I would recommend.

Stayed here for a week for work. Very spacious and clean rooms. The gym and breakfast area is excellent. The pool is indoor and open till late. They also have extra plates, utensils, and napkins for guests next to reception. The front desk and staff preparing breakfast are super nice! Would highly recommend this hotel. It's def the best in the area.

We stopped here for an overnight on our way to Thanksgiving. It was clean and comfortable and Tracey at the front desk was very friendly. Our family enjoyed the pool (nice and warm), workout room, and delicious free breakfast. I was very impressed with the breakfast options. Delicious cinnamon rolls, fresh made pancakes, eggs (egg white and regular, sausage (turkey and pork), bagels (with 3 cream cheese options), muffins, oatmeal, Greek yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juice, 2 types of milk(2% and whole), decaf and regular coffee and teas and more! So much to choose from! We would definitely return! My only problem was the bed was too soft for my back but it was very cozy and my family all slept well. This hotel cost a bit more but it was worth it for our family.

This is a beautiful hotel. It's very clean. The breakfasts are very good, the food is hot and plentiful. It's very quiet. No rowdy guests, you can barely hear any outside noise. Bed was comfortable, towels were clean, white and fluffy. No complaints at all! Definitely a 5 star hotel stay!

Extremely clean, well run hotel! We were so pleased we stayed an extra night. Breakfast was a full hot and cold buffet and was very well tended by Ruth Ann. Drew Patel was our front desk manager on multiple days. He was friendly, professional, helpful and genuine. The indoor pool and gym are in like new condition and also spotless. Carpets are fresh and spotless. Views are spectacular (catch the sunset for sure)! This Holiday Inn Express, in Reedsville (near multiple PA State Parks and Penn State) is a real gem. Call Drew and make your reservation, it was worth it!!

We were able to take our mini poodle and the accommodations were sufficient. We didn't use services so I put 3 starts. I put 4 stars for location because the hotel isn't listed on GPS and we had a hard time finding it (it's back off of the road in a development). Also, we were on the 3rd floor which was inconvient for the dog. We plan on staying here again in June. Thank you!

I really enjoyed my stay(well first night of)! The lady at the front is so sweet, super helpful, and respectful! I forgot a charger and she let me borrow hers. She was also doing breakfast this am(for the first time) and she was super helpful and attentive with restocking and cleaning! Pool is also nice and the rooms are very clean. Housekeeping also comes around asking if you need anything, standard but it’s always nice to know housekeeping is actually coming around! 10/10 for sure

This hotel was perfect for a State College football weekend. A little far but in the right direction east of state college. Great rooms with a large and comfortable bed, high-quality TV with casting ability and an impressive shower. Really was impressed with the hotel for our stay and likely will be coming back if the price is reasonable.

The young lady that checked us in went in our opinion above and beyond normal good service let alone the service we find in the country anymore. I told her she was a gold star employee. Eric was very friendly. We enjoyed the new feature on the tv where you can cast from your phone to the TV and the black washcloth for your makeup is a smart idea. I know I appreciate not feeling like I just ruined your stuff.
